This is THE only mattress pad you'll need. Don't bother with the more expensive ones. This one is very durable, easy wash and dry and isn't PLASTICY but nice, soft and quilted. Slips on like a fitted sheet. I've had one for years and it's now been passed down to baby 2's crib.

We bought this as a mattress protector but it is also

quilted and adds comfort to my son's crib. Works well

and one thing I like about this protector is that it is fitted

to the mattress, no snaps, no ties, just slip it on like you would a fitted sheet. Dirty? Toss it in the washer. Two thumbs up!
